Key's to a Browns win in Indianapolis

How well does the team recover from an embarrassing, lethargic performance on Sunday against the Andy Dalton and Bruce Gradkowski led Bengals?Do they come out on fire, fixing key mistakes-- offsides, snap count issues and recognizes what the other side has coming out of the huddle?

The Colts have their own game to recover from as well after losing to the Texans  in Houston last week, in what can be described as nothing less then a complete melt down by the Colts. No doubt both of the teams playing Sunday have something of chip on their shoulder to try and prove that the teams that played last week are not who they really are.

Here are my keys to a Browns win on Sunday.

Get Peyton Hillis the ball more. Having a wrecking ball of a runner in Hillis should give second year QB Colt McCoy some time to gather himself and get entrenched in the new West Coast offense that Pat Shurmur brought to Cleveland. If you don't think Shurmur likes to run, just check out the yards that Stephen Jackson had while he was Offensive Coordinator for the St.Louis Rams.

Alex Mack and Joe Thomas, along with the rest of the offensive line need to give Colt plenty of time to let passing plays to unfold and let him find the open man instead of forcing the ball into a tight window that could lead to interceptions.Dwight Freeney presents multiple problems for the O-line and can cause chaos all game if they let him.

The Browns need to get more carries for Peyton Hillis who rushed only 17 times for 57 yards.Obviously the game and the momentum willl dictate how much that they can run, if they are behind they will be forced to throw more to try and put points on the board.

I want Joe Haden to show the doubters and his detractors that he can cover with whoever he is assigned to. The Colts have a myriad of weapons on offense for receiving from Dallas Clark at tight end to Pierre Garcon and of course let's not forget about Reggie Wayne.

One of the wide receivers needs to step up and become the man for McCoy. With the Colts, when Peyton Manning was behind center you could always count  on the tandem of Manning to Wayne. The Brown's need to figure out who their number one receiver is and give him plenty of touches.

I'm optimistic about the teams chances for a win against a Manning-less Colt's team but am also worried about Indy being just as fired up after their loss to the Texans.  In three day's time, we will know who won.. Let's hope it's the Orange and Brown!
